Daily Bellwork--10-15 minutes

My Day Monday--The students will fill out their agends for the week and update their daily reading log.  Students will also watch a short video clip and then write a response journal.

Totally Reading Tuesday--Students will first update their reading log in their journal and then they will have the chance for some silent reading and/or time to go to the library to get new books!

Workshop Wednesday--Students will have a sentence or two that will have a lot of grammar errors.  We will work through this together in order to find the mistakes and fix them.  Students will definitely need a red pen to show their corrections.  Sometimes we might have a review on this day of something we have been going over in class recently.

Time to Read Thursday--Students will first update their reading log in their journal and then they will have the chance for some silent reading and/or time to go to the library to get new books!

Find Out Friday--This will be different every Friday.  Sometimes we will play a reading game, other days we might do a puzzle, etc.  You will never know until you walk through the classroom door!

Several students are wanting to know when to use who or whom:

here is a website that will help!

A READING BOOK is required EVERYDAY in my class!  All students are expected to have a reading book with them each day.

Campus Information

Please allow at least 5-7 days for grading when it comes to a writing assignment and 1-2 days for other shorter assignments.  I try to grade as fast as I can and get them into Campus!  If your student is actually missing something, I will mark it as missing!  Thank you for understanding!

***Homework Hour***

Students may stay after school from 3:20-4:20, Monday through Thursday to work on homework.

The sessions will be in Ms. Hall's room (216).

Students who are staying should meet in the library after school.

Your family needs to make transportation arrangements if you are staying after school for homework hour.  Parents will need to be able to pick up their student by 4:30.

We do not have transportation for this program.
